Decades of research have confirmed that medical marijuana can provide significant relief to patients suffering with serious health conditions. It's time for Nebraska to join 32 other states, including Utah, Oklahoma, and Missouri, in establishing a program that creates safe access to medical marijuana for patients with a doctor's recommendation.

Sen. Anna Wishart has introduced legislation (LB 110) to provide relief to patients, and I am writing to ask that you publicly support this proposal. This bill deserves your endorsement, and you can help it become a top legislative priority this year.

Families across our state are watching a loved one endure debilitating pain and other symptoms that could be alleviated by medical marijuana. Please do the right thing and support Sen. Wishart's compassionate plan to help these patients.
